SRAM RED Crank Arm Assembly E1 - Wide
What makes the SRAM RED Crank Arm Assembly E1 Wide the top gravel crank?
The RED Crank Arm Assembly E1 Wide is the lightest and stiffest crank SRAM has built, starting with a redesigned hollow carbon layup that drops 29 grams from the previous generation arms without compromising torsional stiffness or fatigue resistance. The Wide geometry positions the chainline outboard to match the center of wide-range 1x gravel cassettes, minimizing chain angle and friction across the full gear range. Available in 160mm, 165mm, 170mm, and 172.5mm crank arm lengths, giving riders more fit options than any previous RED generation.
Compatible with SRAM DUB bottom bracket standards and the full RED AXS gravel ecosystem. The Wide designation is specific to 1x drivetrains and gravel-optimized chainlines; it is not recommended for 2x road setups where standard chainline geometry is correct. This is the crank arm assembly only — chainring sold separately. If you are building the lightest possible RED gravel drivetrain and need a fit-optimized carbon crank, the E1 Wide is the spec to build around.
