SRAM Force AXS HRD Shift/Brake Set E1 - Left/Front

What does the SRAM Force AXS HRD Shift/Brake Set E1 Left/Front include?

The SRAM Force AXS HRD Shift/Brake Set E1 Left/Front is the left-side lever and front brake caliper unit for Force AXS hydraulic disc road builds. Like the Right/Rear counterpart, this E1 generation unit features redesigned hood ergonomics developed from years of rider feedback — improved fit for a wider range of hand sizes, a textured surface around the AXS shift buttons and Bonus Buttons for tactile control without looking, stiffer calipers for better modulation and brake feel, and a lever pivot geometry that eliminates finger pinch under hard braking. One-finger braking from both hoods and drops was a primary design target for the E1 update, and it delivers.

The left lever controls front braking and, in 2x configurations, pairs with the Force AXS front derailleur for left-side shifting. In a 1x setup, the left lever controls front braking only, with shift buttons optionally programmable through the AXS app for other functions such as dropper post actuation or multi-shift. The hydraulic system runs DOT fluid on flat-mount caliper standards. For riders building out a complete Force AXS HRD cockpit, pair this unit with the matching Right/Rear set to complete the lever and caliper package.
