SRAM CenterLine Disc Brake Rotor - 180mm | Center Lock

What rides is the SRAM CenterLine 180mm CenterLock rotor built for?

The SRAM CenterLine Disc Brake Rotor in 180mm CenterLock is a full stainless steel MTB rotor suited to trail and enduro riding where 180mm hits the right balance between stopping power, weight, and thermal capacity. At 180mm, it provides meaningful improvements in braking leverage and heat dissipation over 160mm for riders descending technical terrain, running sustained grades, or using higher-output brakes like SRAM Guide or G2 that benefit from larger diameter to fully express their capability. The machined braking surface keeps rotor consistency high throughout rotation, minimizing vibration and noise, while rounded outer edges are UCI-compliant and simplify wheel installation.

The CenterLock mounting interface uses a lockring that threads directly onto CenterLock-standard hub bodies for a clean, secure, rattle-free connection that won't loosen under repeated brake torque. Compatible with SRAM Code, Guide, G2, and Level hydraulic disc brake families and any CenterLock hub-equipped wheel. Minimum rotor thickness is 1.55mm — check regularly and replace before reaching the wear limit, as a rotor at or below minimum will not dissipate heat adequately and can crack under sustained heavy braking. Installation requires a CenterLock lockring tool. If your hubs use a 6-bolt interface, the CenterLine family is also available in 6-bolt configurations.
